1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the HSK Reviso mobile application and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services. Your continued use of the application constitutes your acceptance of any updates to these terms.
2. Description of Service
HSK Reviso provides a mobile application for learning Chinese vocabulary through the HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) examination system. The application includes flashcard-based learning, progress tracking, mock examinations, and related educational content. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our service at any time without prior notice.
3. User Accounts and Registration
To access certain features of our platform, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not: (a) use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform; (c) interfere with or disrupt the service or servers connected to the service; (d) collect, scrape, or extract our dictionary data, vocabulary lists, or any other content from the service using automated tools, bots, or bulk download methods; (e) impersonate any person or entity. Normal personal use of the dictionary for learning purposes is permitted.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of our platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and data compilations, are the property of HSK Reviso or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you submit to our platform. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute such content in connection with providing our services.
6. Payment, Subscriptions, and Auto-Renewal
Certain features of our service require payment of fees. All fees are stated in U.S. dollars and are subject to change with notice. Auto-Renewal: Your HSK Reviso subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us (through Apple, the merchant of record) to charge your designated payment method for each renewal at the then-current price. Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel on an iOS device: open the Settings app → tap your name → tap Subscriptions → select HSK Reviso → tap Cancel Subscription. After cancellation, you will continue to have access to your subscription benefits until the end of the current billing period. You can also manage your subscription online at https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Price Changes: We will notify you at least 30 days in advance of any price changes. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect. Restore Purchases: If you previously purchased a subscription on another device or after reinstalling the app, you can restore it by tapping "Restore Purchases" on the subscription screen or in the app's Settings page. Refunds: Refund requests within 7 days of initial purchase will be handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. After 7 days, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued. To request a refund, visit https://reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support. Free Trials: If a free trial is offered, you may cancel at any time during the trial period to avoid being charged. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the disclosed price.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy or completeness of any content or information obtained through our service.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL HSK REVISO, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (II) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; (III) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE; AND (IV) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS SHALL EXCLUDE OR LIMIT OUR LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY RESULTING FROM OUR NEGLIGENCE, OR FOR ANY OTHER LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which HSK Reviso operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within that jurisdiction for the resolution of any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the service.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

13. Apple App Store Additional Terms
If you obtained HSK Reviso through the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply: These Terms are between you and HSK Reviso, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or the content thereof. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the Service. In the event of any failure of the Service to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price for the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Service, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be the sole responsibility of HSK Reviso. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Service or your possession and/or use of the Service, including but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the Service fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation. In the event of any third-party claim that the Service or your possession and use of the Service infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, HSK Reviso (not Apple) will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim. You must comply with any applicable third-party terms when using the Service. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
